Commendation for Excellence in Southern Comfort Food: THE BISCUITS from GEORGIA’S EASTSIDE BBQ

Pictured here with a textbook example of a great pulled pork sandwich, these biscuits are hands-down the best I have ever eaten. They break apart clean down the middle and are  fluffy and buttery and totally addictive. I left immediately wanting more.

ENDNOTES: Biscuits are a special side which are listed on the chalkboard, not in the menu, so if they’re not available the first time you hit up this Southern food spot, they’re worth making a second trip. As mentioned above, the pulled pork sandwich is awesome. The lovely British lady next to me said her fried chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, which is good, because it contained one of the biggest pieces of bird I’ve ever seen crammed into a sesame seed bun.
